Scorsese leaves Bob Marley documentary project. Jonathan Demme to take over.
A guide to summer music fests.
Today In Music History:
1943 - Levon Helm (The Band) was born.
1948 - Stevie Nicks was born.
1949 - Mick Ronson was born.
1964 - Lenny Kravitz was born.
1969 - John & Yoko began their Montreal bed-in.
1984 - Deniece Williams (former back-up singer for Stevie Wonder) was at #1 with "Let's Hear It For The Boy."
1990 - David Bowie was sued by his ex wife for $56 million.
1994 - Michael Jackson and Lisa Marie Presley were married.
1997 - Bob Dylan was admitted to a hospital for chest pains. His summer tour was later cancelled.
2006 - Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale's son, Kingston was born.
It blows my mind that Stevie Nicks is only 5 years older than Levon Holm.
And by Holm I mean Helm. Shame on me for not previewing before post.
