Let Amy, who chose My Three Songs today, that she does not have to leave The Current behind when she moves to California! I'm in North Carolina and listen to The Current all day long on my computer at work. Then, on weekends, I listen 24/7 on my computer at home. The Current plays the best new independant music in the country. It keeps me up-to-date with what's happening in the music world. The independant music scene is very strong and thriving in Chapel Hill, but I hear the newest bands and know the latest music news becuase I listen to The Current!

Barb, this morning you mentioned a song to include on those soon-to-be-made summer mixes (buffalo tom-summer). I think it would be a great idea if you posted what your 15-song summer mix would consist of and if you can convince the other DJs to do the same, all the better! Thanks!

Maple Baseball Bats: Maple bats can be made from several different species of maple trees. The best and hardest species is rock maple or sugar maple. Other maple is used and is cheaper but softer wood and therefore inferior.

Barb, I have seen helicopters spraying mosquito areas near my home, and they are quite erratic in flight. They dive bomb and look like they are out of control.
