More spring fever today ... Patti Black observed the rain-bearing clouds of springtime looming overhead recently and wondered, "What happened to the sunshine?" She says, "I immediately played my favorite song by local band Atmosphere, 'Sunshine.' Two of my other favorite songs are also called 'Sunshine'."

1) Atmosphere, "Sunshine"
2) Orba Squara, "Sunshine"
3) Coco Rosie, "Sunshine"

Keep up the springtime celebrations, folks -- I'm all for it. Thanks Patti!

United Musicians!

Posted at 7:41 PM on May 21, 2008 by Mark Wheat

The biggest soccer game of the European season was today in Moscow. It was the first time that two English clubs had played in the European Champions Final and although it wasn't an outstanding game, the drama was intense!
My fave team Manchester United won so I wanted to play a ton of Manchester music to celebrate and knew a few musicians who support them, like Rod Stewart, who once put their name in a song! But the NME was very helpful today making a great list of musicians who support the two sides!
Now we have to turn our attention to supporting David Beckham playing for LA, as he is an ex United phenom and our very own MN Thunder!!
