From the "Somebody Needs To Get a Life" File

Dateline, Queretara Mexico: It seems that the latest group of persecuted folks who are being subjected to hate crimes are: emo kids. You read that right. Man, are there no limits to the absurd ways we can come up with to express hate in this world?

Now, I'm just as annoyed with the eye-shadowed, lopsided-haircut-sporting mopeys as the next guy -- and think it's about time for us to move onto the next musico-fashion nexus, please, whatever it may be -- but c'mon.

Well you shouldn't be surprised! The world we live in may have come a long way but hate crimes, prejudice, racism, and etc. still exist, which I find even more frustrating.

Unfortunately, those of us who enjoy seeing the music-fashions go by love to see what each phase has to offer.

You also mentioned..."think it's about time for us to move onto the next musico-fashion nexus, please, whatever it may be..." One thing I found interesting about your comment is that what ever era you grew up in...I think that tends to stay in history forever. Some individuals who lived through the 60's and 70's find themselves living in that hippie fashion-style still today..and have you noticed the way that the 80's (an era that some say to have the worst fashion sense of all) is actually making a comeback to the teens today??

Just a little something for you to ponder. That's all.
