"My 3 Songs" for Thursday

Posted at 1:35 PM on March 20, 2008 by Steve Seel

So Spring springs today, and soooo many folks are pretty dern ready fer it, your humble host emphatically included. I wish it would stick around a while, but alas, it's litereally here today, gone tomorrow (winter storm warning in effect starting at 7pm tonight). But hang on baby ...

Anyway, Lisa Carlson of Mpls writes, "Spring is my absolute favorite time of year and these songs sum up how I feel about the first day of Spring, especially "Snow is Gone" by Josh Ritter. My sister and I celebrate March 20th like a holiday and it wouldn't be the same without Josh! I hope it's sunny on Thursday!

1) The Beatles, "Good Day Sunshine"
2) Jason Collett, "I'll Bring The Sun"
3) Josh Ritter, "Snow Is Gone"

Positively glorious set, Lisa. Thanks.
