With the buzz from SXSW still hanging in the air, we have another set today that takes advantage of it. Lincoln Scully from Mpls writes, "I was at SXSW last week, and while checking out some bands and standing iin the sun, I neglected to wear sunscreen. Needless to say, I have quite a sunburn that has decided to start peeling today. In honor of (this fact), I want to play a set for the sun."
1) Rage Against the Machine, "People of the Sun"
2) They Might Be Giants, "Why Does the Sun Shine"
3) Emily Haines, "Reading In Bed" live in The Current's studios (she throws in a bit of "House of the Rising Sun" at the end)
Two words Lincoln: aloe vera. (By they way, that segue from RATM into TMBG was one of the most genius, oddball seques I've ever heard. Nice job).
