1977 - Barbra Streisand's album A Star Is Born was #1.
1997 - David Bowie received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
2000 - Screamin' Jay Hawkins died.
2003 - John Densmore took legal action against Ray Manzarek and Robby Krieger for breach of contract, trademark infringement and unfair competition when they joined Ian Astbury (former Cult singer) and Stewart Copeland (The Police) as The Doors.
2007 - Sting confirmed that The Police were getting back together.
