Today In Music History:
1937 - Don Everly (The Everly Brothers) was born.
1948 - Rick James was born.
1949 - RCA Records issued the very first 45rpm single.
1967 - The Beatles began work on a the song "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band."
1969 - Patrick Wilson (Weezer) was born.
1969 - Tommy James and the Shondells had the #1 single with "Crimson And Clover."
1975 - Antoine Patton (Big Boi, Outkast) was born.
1986 - Diana Ross married Arne Naess. (They divorced in 2000.)
1988 - The Cars announced they were breaking up.
1995 - Richey James (Manic Street Preachers) vanished. He has never been found.
