1972 - Saul Williams was born.
1977 - Two members of Lynyrd Skynyrd were knocked unconscious after a scuffle with members of the metropolitan police boxing team in London.
1980 - The glasses that Buddy Holly had been wearing when he died were found in a police file in Iowa (they'd been there for over 21 years.)
1992 - Mr Big's "To Be With You" was #1.
