"My 3 Songs" for Tuesday

Break out the tartans and the haggis today... Kathy Parkin of Princeton MN has an all-Scottish set for us. She says, "I was watching a 'Best of Saturday Night Live' with Mike Myers, and it made me think of his 'All Things Scottish' skit. He would always proclaim, 'if is isn't Scottish, it's crap!' That got me to thinking of Scottish bands; here are three I particularly enjoy ... and who doesn't love that Scottish accent?"
1) The Fratellis, "Everybody Knows You Cried Last Night"
2) The Jesus and Mary Chain, "Blues From a Gun"
3) Belle & Sebastian, "Funny Little Frog"
By the way, one of my favorite quotes from Myers' movie So I Married An Axe Murderer: "I think most Scottish cuisine was originally based on a dare."
