"My 3 Songs" for Friday

It's frigid, it's windy, it's miserable. So let's get out of town for today's M3S set. Leslie Estrem of Mpls submits "three perfect driving songs" (I would usually say something like "good stuff for heading up to the cabin," but with the weather right now, why don't we roadtrip to Texas instead and get some tacos?)

1) Cake, "Stickshifts and Safetybelts"
2) Son Volt, "Trace"
3) Hayden, "Dynamite Walls"

Wow, Hayden! Nice touch, Leslie. Excellent set.

It's so stupid and obvious to say "stay warm" this weekend ... so I'll say something more original, like "make sure the doggies don't stay out back too long."
