1976 - Paul Cook's (Sex Pistols) mother told the UK newspaper The Daily Mail that Paul was no longer welcome at home and she was turning his bedroom in a dining room.
1993 - Michael Clarke (The Byrds) died.
2005 - The Pogues and Kirsty MacColl's "Fairytale of New York" was voted the #1 Christmas song in a VH1 poll.
