1948 - Ozzy Osbourne was born.
1966 - Ray Charles was convicted of multiple counts of drug possession.
1969 - John Lennon was offered the lead role in Jesus Christ Superstar.
1979 - Eleven people were trampled to death at a Who concert in Cincinnati.
1986 - A lawsuit was filed against Judas Priest after two fans shot themselves while listening to the band's music.
