Led Zeppelin take the stage Monday around 2pm our time in the O2 arena in London, where Prince wooed the UK for 21 nights recently. Now this is only one night which might stretch to 2 hours but it's pretty special, they haven't played a full set for nearly 30 years?!?! To celebrate I will play a Led song every hour, along with some of the bands who are obviously inspired by them or should we say try to carry their torch?
The 'set list' as voted on by you so far will be;
In The Evening
When The Levee Breaks
Achilles Last Stand
Kashmir
I had to make a few votes to get it to 4 so far, and personally I would have liked an acoustic one in there, Bron-Y-Aur Stomp or even Tangerine? There weren't enough votes for them yet and it's telling that they are not on the new 'Mothership' comp either, disowned by the band too huh?
If you want to add your votes feel free AND which contemporary bands do you think take inspiration from the "Hammers of the Gods"?
