"My 3 Songs" for Thursday

Posted at 2:38 PM on December 6, 2007 by Steve Seel (1 Comments)

Craig Larson from Maple Grove MN writes of his selections, "All are undeniably catchy songs I first heard on The Current and would not be aware of (the songs or the bands) if I weren't a devoted listener.

1) Of Montreal, "Disconnect the Dots"
2) The Fiery Furnaces, "Tropical Iceland"
3) Deerhoof, "The Perfect Me"

Craig, I'm so glad you feel these are catchy songs. It seems that two out of three of them (the first and last) some people would find genuinely challenging to listen to. But they ARE catchy! Personally, I can't help but sing along with the chorus line in the Deerhoof tune. Nice choices!
