"My 3 Songs" for Thursday

Cathy Beil of Mpls writes, "Hi Steve! (Last Thursday was) my 30th birthday and instead of hiding in shame, I'm starting my third decade with a huge party including performances by Dreamland Faces and Jeremy Messersmith, and DJs from the excellent "Hipshaker" 60s/70s soul/funk vinyl dance night." Cathy wanted to get a taste of some of the music she's going to have at her party with her set.
1) A Night In The Box, "Conductor Man"
2) Jeremy Messersmith, "Snow Day"
3) George Clinton, "Atomic Dog" (Cathy said she wanted us to pick "some rockin' old soul/funk")
P.S. Cathy, I hate to tell you, but technically, it's not your third decade you're entering. Unless you're considering it to be the third that officially counts for you or something like that. But that's okay -- trust me, this is the kind of mistake your pal Steve makes on a daily basis.
