I've often said that for some reason my fave DJ's are based in Paris France. Throughout the 90's I got turned on to a bunch of them by a label called Yellow Productions which put out a string of hooj compilations. One of the men behind this label is Christophe le Friant aka Bob Sinclar.
He started having hits of his own in '97 with "Gym Tonic" which he co-produced with Thomas Bangalter of Daft Punk. His reputation built to the point that his last solo cd 'Western Dream' had several worldwide dancefloor hits and some rank him right at the top of the DJ rankings.
The world of soccer endorsed him by using his track 'Love Generation' as official music for Goleo, the mascot of the Fifa World Cup 2006 in Germany !!

This compilation was released after he finished a world tour this summer and is made up of his tracks remixed as listed, and in the initial pressing contains a dvd with some amazing scenes from that tour, it's called...
Soundz of Freedom (My Ultimate Summer of Love Mix) and we played this section;

10. The Beat Goes On (Mousse T. Remix)
11. Champs Elysées Theme (Jamie Lewis Remix)
12. Tribute feat. Michael Robinson & Ron Carroll
13. Together feat. Steve Edwards
14. Give a Lil’ Love (Erik Kupper Remix)
