Peter Dangefield of St. Paul writes, "I know I may be in the minority when it comes to ELO, but I can't be the only person that loves them. After the great evening at the 89.3 Listener Appreciation show listening to E.L.nO, I started to notice other bands played on The Current that were influenced by Jeff Lynne and the Electric Light Orchestra."
1) Electric Light Orchestra, "Don't Bring Me Down"
2) Grandaddy, "The Crystal Lake"
3) The Apples In Stereo, "Same Old Drag"
Great set, Peter! Nice observation, and for what it's worth, you're certainly not "in the minority" around here -- a number of Current folks are huge ELO fans.
