John Peel Day

I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for this man. Still so beloved in the UK that they have a ton of special shows to commemorate his last broadcast. I remember him being so shy around some of his faves, like Siouxsie Sioux, who'll be playing the big BBC Electric Proms show in his honor this year, and I'll be the same way tomorrow when I interview The Fiery Furnaces!!
