1949 - Michael Burston (Motorhead) was born.
1956 - Dwight Yoakam was born.
1962 - Little Stevie Wonder recorded "Thank You For Loving Me All The Way," his first single for Motown Records.
1982 - The Damned released Strawberries packaged with a lyric sheet that smelled like strawberries.
1989 - Nirvana played their first European gig in North East England.
1999 - Sandra Ann-Rosas, the wife of Los Lobos singer Ceasar, disappeared. Police later charged her half brother with kidnapping and murder.
