Live Current Vol. 3: Friday Edition

Posted at 2:36 PM on October 12, 2007 by Steve Seel (115 Comments)

We presented the final four songs today of our week-long roll-out of the tracks on our new Live Current Vol. 3 CD. And they are:

1) Badly Drawn Boy, "Born In The U.K."
2) Dr.Dog, "Die Die Die"
3) The Pipettes, "Guess Who Ran Off With The Milkman?"
4) Fountains Of Wayne, "Red Dragon Tatoo"

The Badly Drawn Boy track was recorded in front of an intimate live audience for a special winners-only event at the Fitzgerald Theater; The Pipettes tune, as it happens, is a non-album track from them (another exclusive!), and finally, we wouldn't even have this performance of "Red Dragon Tattoo" from FOW if this hadn't have been Mary's answer to their solicitation for a request when they were here. I think we all sorta feel like it's a real coup.

Well, that's it -- 17 amazing tracks, the end result of another year of fabulous in-studio sessions that you have made possible with your support. We hope you'll continue that generosity in the year ahead ... and you can start by picking up a copy of the disc right here!
