Mercury Music Prize

I used to take a strange pride in the fact that this prize seemed to go to someone deserving every year, an artist that I was excited about, but the results for the last few years have shaken my confidence and now this!
Amy Winehouse made a surprise return to the live stage, for one song, at the Awards show .

I thought you were a big Arctic Monkeys fan, Mark. Therefore, I'd think you would have been excited with last year's results.

Who were you rooting for this year? I figured it would be Bat for Lashes, but the Mercury Prize is downright impossible to predict.

Well... at least it wasn't Razorlight wasn't nominated. Thank god
