Carly Wicks from Mpls says, "I'm a big fan of the 'double-clap,' and these songs all make a point of including it. The double-clap is something that invites the listener to take their hands off the steering wheel and clap along, regardless of the three-car pileups you may cause along the way (note: we are not ecouraging this behavior per se). And for some people that's all it takes to be happy."
1) Jawbreaker: "Fireman"
2) Ben Folds: "Annie Waits"
3) The Clash: "Rock the Casbah"
If it didn't have a naughty word in it, I realized that Jens Lekman's "Black Cab" could easily fit in here, too.
Not to mention "That Thing You Do!"
or 92 Subaru
No one will be surprised that I am saying this...
but there a number of Lifter Puller songs that will incite me to double-clap along.
AND, Mary just played Sloan's "Figure It Out" which featured some AWESOME two-handed slapping!
