1965 - Elvis Presley invited The Beatles to home in Bel Air where they jammed along to records until the early hours of the morning. It was the first and only time they met.
1967 - Brian Epstein (The Beatles manager) was found dead from an overdose of sleeping pills.
1979 - Sarah Neufeld (Arcade Fire) was born.
1988 - Tracy Chapman's self titled album was #1.
1990 - Stevie Ray Vaughan was killed in a helicopter crash.

The 400 Bar suffered a "partial collaspse" of its brick wall on Saturday night, which led to the local venue being evacuated. More info here. No word on whether or not the 400 Bar is officially open or closed.
June Madrona, The Wapsipinicon, Cataldo, and Neal Perbix are (were?) scheduled to play tonight at 8 p.m.
