"Song for Red," July 14, 2007, Our Summer Vacation, Part 2: "Stay Away, You'll Never Know What You'll Catch"

As we shot down out of South Dakota and Wyoming and into Denver we were excited to get to my sister's place for a number of reasons, not the least of which was the fact that she had Guitar Hero!

Our family's collective immune system must be very strong because we caught the GH virus only recently. But we were excited to test our new skills. Over and over and over again...

Red got really good. Her favorite song to rock to is today's SFR, Cheap Trick's "Surrender."

I'm still trying to explain to her what "Indonesian junk" means.

I think you'd have a harder time explaining her Mom and Dad rolling on the couch with the KISS records out! ;)
