Charles De Gaulle CD release party at Big V's in St. Paul. Read the City Pages article about them here: Liberty, Equality, Idiocy. With Falcon Crest, White Jazz, and Everybell and Whistle.


Tonight at the Uptown Bar: These Modern Socks, Cowboy Curtis, Parts For All Makes and Estate.


And tonight is Day 2 of Twin Cities Riot fest at the Hexagon Bar in Minneapolis, featuring DJs from KFAI shows Radio Rumpus Room and Radio Riot and a whole lot of garage rock bands. FREE.

If you've got the spare change, Vans Warped Tour looks loaded with Bad Religion...and P.O.S. Steph is the coolest, and the show is all ages. The Current's Lindsay Kimball has promised to give us a recap of the show. Personally, I will be at the Fratellis show at the Varsity. The Fratellis isn't a local band at all.

Pictures Of Then is playing the Red Sea tonight, Friday July 27th ,with special guests The Golden Chariots of Mars (how cool is THAT name?). Show starts at 7:30.

Kaddisfly is also on the WARPED Tour; however I'm not likely to make it as for $30 for 25mins, I'm not even clear on when they will be playing. But I really happy for them to get that kind of exposure, which they deserve.
