"My 3 Songs" for Thursday

Posted at 3:13 PM on July 19, 2007 by Steve Seel (77 Comments)

Shaun of Minneapolis dedicates this set "in honor of my 8-year-old, Sam. I heard 'Polyester Bride' on the ay to the hospital when he was born. 'Circles' was on all the time when I was up in the middle of the night. 'Closing Time' was always blasting from various houses as we took walks through the neighborhood. These songs really take me back. I haven't really heard live music since he was born, but I get my music fix from the Current - Thanks!"

1) Liz Phair - "Polyester Bride"
2) Soul Coughing - "Circles"
3) Semisonic - "Closing Time"
