It's "the sound that the unification of (the) coast(s) has wrought," says Neal Scibelli of Madison, WI today in describing the collaboration of Jimmy Tamborello (Dntel) and Ben Gibbard (Death Cab for Cutie). Accordingly, Neal offered us one from each artist, then finished off with the union of both that is The Postal Service (but as a bonus, the Dntel song featured Ben on vocals as well).
1) Dntel, "(This Is) The Dream of Evan and Chan"
2) Death Cab for Cutie, "The New Year"
3) The Postal Service, "Brand New Colony"
