"My boyfriend and I often have brunch at the Bad Waitress in Minneapolis," says Jeanette of St. Paul, "and we'll each put a dollar in the jukebox for our Sunday morning meal. I'll often pick Mavin Gaye and Etta James. They don't have Feist, but Mushaboom is my 'theme song' and we're going to see Feist in concert. These songs make me think of (my boyfriend)."
1) Feist, "Mushaboom"
2) Carole King, "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman"
3) Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell, "How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You)"

This one's a bit out in left field, but ...
It being summer and all, the old man and I have taken to sitting on the porch a lot. We've noticed an increasing number of people walking through our neighborhood with glazed eyes, looking particularly out of it. We say hello, and they seem not to hear us. One day, in response to one of these odd folks, the old man turned to me and said, "What do we want?" To which I answered, "Brains!" Then he said, "When do we want them?" To which I replied, "Brains!" It's become a little ritual, and our way of dealing with the neighborhood zombies, and it comes to us compliments of local glam-weirdos Dance Band.
So, now I ask you--any song lines worked their way into your daily life, your rituals, your general vernacular?
