What's Up Fog?

Posted at 11:59 AM on June 7, 2007 by Danny Sigelman

One of my favorite MN power trios, Fog, have a new release on the UK Lex Records label on the way in August.

The long anticipated "Ditherer" finds the band ditching their original "turntablist", experimental flavor for a more straight ahead "rock and roll" sound. As leader, Andrew Broder says "There are people in the world who like weird noises, there are people who like pop songs, we like both..".

Here's a sneak preview and short film, directed by Minneapolitan legend Chuck Statler, that gives you more an idea of what to expect.
