John, Paul, George, or Ringo?

forever George!

To do what, exactly?

No question -

John. All the way.

George. All the Way

Just because...Barbara Bach.

LOL Tony!

Reminds me of SNL and "Fernando" interviewing Ringo... "So, how does it feel to be Mr. Barbara Bach?"

George?! [shaking head in disbelief]

Frick, name me a single song George wrote that could even hold a candle to "Imagine", "Jealous Guy", "Mind Games", "Beautiful Boy", "Give Peace A Chance", etc.

Besides, didn't he lose the copyright infringement suit over "My Sweet Lord"?

George. "While My Guitar Gently Weeps", "Something", and all of All Things Must Pass. "Give Me Love" runs circles around "Give Peace a Chance" any day.

Mac, you're my new best friend.

All Things Must Pass is one of the best songs he ever wrote.

not to mention:
Here Comes the Sun
Beware of Darkness
Isn't It a Pity
Love You To
Within You/Without You

Heck, even Piggies and The Inner Light rule.

Annnndd... It's apples and oranges for John and George. They both had different agendas/mind sets about their music and lyrics.

Looks like Auntie's spoiling for a throw down :)

C'mere, Frick, let me show you my flying turnbuckle!

so... i wasn't going to even chime in here.. 'cause, you know, i fully understand and appreciate the Beatles place/vitality in the world of pop music and all, but.. i don't lose my !@#$%^ at the mere mention of their name. which, come to think of it, maybe makes me a better person to comment on such things.. First of all, i assume that we are talking about these fellas within the realm of the band in which they belonged(i know that wasn't explicitly stated but that is always what people mean when they raise this question, right? if NOT it is definitely/maybe George, then john. paul could have been as good as john post beatles if he only weren't so prolific, or if maybe he, you know, died. some of John's post Beatles output is just as painful as Paul's (woman? c'mon..))... so, sticking to that rule, although it breaks my heart, "Isn't It A Pity" is out (this is a song I was introduced to via Galaxie 500 but that song has ever since been a huge part of my life). Still, with "Something" alone, George is close. I have to say i give it to John... although one of my very favorite songs is "We Can Work It Out". that's Paul, right?(except the bridge, which i remember john saying in an old playboy interview that he wrote that part and it was the only good part of the song..) Ringo isn't worth mentioning, honestly is he? Now Babara Bach?! Caveman, anyone? genius. so maybe it's ringo after all..
