"Song for Red," May 26, 2007

Posted at 4:01 PM on May 26, 2007 by Tony Lopez (2 Comments)

Red has always felt at home in the water and for the last few years she's been taking swimming lessons at our neigborhood YWCA. At first we were a little nervous, as you can imagine. Leaving her in the care of a stranger, even a stranger who swims well, took a little getting used to. But now she's so comfortable in the pool we hardly think about it anymore.

I love watching her swim underwater which is the inspiration for this week's SFR, "Underwater's Where the Action Is," by the San Francisco singer/songwriter Kelley Stoltz.

Here's hoping the Memorial Day weekend provides us with a ton of good swimming weather!

Heck, Yeah! So glad to hear you're fan of Kelley Stoltz. His brand of 60's-inspired psychedelic pop is always welcome coming from my speakers.

In Minnesota during the summer, underwater is indeed where the action is!
