Serving Spoon

I played the brand new Spoon single "The Underdog" today!
I gotta say I was a bit relieved as I had heard from an "insider" that the new Spoon record was "Jammie".
That is poisen to my ears.
What one word adjective triggers your knee jerk reaction?

I agree with all three of the above. Plus, I'm super tired of "-core". Remember when there was just "hardcore"? Then "emo-core", "cuddle-core", "slow-core"... enough with the cores!!

Also, "new" anything. (Or worse, "nu".)

for no particiular reason the phrase emo-core went through my head this morning. I think it was because when I woke up, my hair looked like some emo kid's hair.

"Psychedelic" always provokes a positive knee jerk reaction from me. If it's psychedelic, I gotta check it out - even if it's didgiridoo and panflute.
