Plastic -- "the Rasputin of Materials," decries Leif Halverson of Hudson, WI, in setting up today's set. "The detrimental impact of plastics on the environment is becoming increasingly clear. I learned on NPR this morning about the city of San Francisco's commendable move to ban plastic bags. Here're three songs that jumped to my mind pertaining to this insidious synthetic."
1) Captain Beefheart, "Plastic Factory"
2) Radiohead, "Fake Plastic Trees"
3) Andrew Bird, "Plasticities"
