Our dedicated listener Bill Fricke submitted today's set as a "surgery set," as he was originally supposed to go under the knife today for back surgery. We got late notice that his date with the doc was postponed, but hey -- Dr. Rock always keeps his appointments.

2) Peter Murphy, "Cuts You Up"
3) Dar Williams covering "Comfortably Numb"

Okay, I really like that Peter Murphy song. But in the context ... it makes my stomach feel funny.

I proposed "The First Cut is The Deepest", but that merry Frickster never listens to my suggestions. Perhaps with good reason.

My life's been generally bland today. I just don't have anything to say recently. I guess it doesn't bother me. Basically nothing seems worth doing, but I don't care.
