I just found out that Sacha Baron Cohen was cast as Freddie Mercury in the upcoming Queen Biopic.. Originally Johnny Depp was rumored for the part.
I think he can pull this off am I crazy?

Although he's not the first person who comes to mind when I think of possible Freddies, he's very good at transforming himself into whomever he wants and doing it convincingly. I'm a little skeptical, but I'm with you - he can probably pull it off.

Cohen's resemblance to Mercury is indeed uncanny; now let's see if he can take it to the next level. Does Cohen have the dramatic chops to pull off a part like this?

I don't think I would have believed Johhny Depp as Freddie. He could never pull off a completely convincing British accent. I think Sacha can do it.
