Some acts have been announced for the Minnesota State Fair. While this isn't on the State Fair's site, it would be cool to see Sierra Leone's Refugee All-Stars at the fair.

Aha! I see the powers that be have decided to amp up the voltage with the Sgt. Pepper tribute, as opposed to the more low-key Rubber Soul one of two years back.

I think this is a good opportunity to figure out which of these bands should cover which tracks (if anyone cares). I can hear Travis doing "When I'm 64", the Kaiser Chiefs with "Lovely Rita" and the Killers (in keeping with the carnivale atmosphere of their latest album) covering "Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite!". Just wait until next year, when we get the all-star White Album tribute.
