Tonight Pete Yorn, Steve Earle, Badly Drawn Boy, The Holmes Brothers, Joseph Arthur, M. Ward and others will celebrate the music of Bruce Springsteen for charity.

Have you seen this yet? I cannot get enough of Alanis' version of The Black-Eyed Peas tune "My Humps".

Morrissey's Sanctuary no longer in the US. (Sanctuary Records, that is).

That New Pornographers article made my day. My year, as a matter of fact. The album title? Newman comparing himself to Bob Dylan? Revealing his desire to record his own ASTRAL WEEKS-TYPE RECORD?!?? (even though, with uncharacteristic modesty, he said it wouldn't be "1/100 the record Astral Weeks was) This is the best news I could possibly receive. This makes up for the new Fountains of Wayne record being subpar.
