I don't know about you, but today's set pretty much stopped me in my tracks. Andrew John of Mpls desribed his chosen tunes simply as "thoughtful pieces on love and death." Indeed.
1) Sufjan Stevens, "Casimir Pulaski Day"
2) Ben Folds, "Carrying Cathy"
3) Tom Waits, "Take It With Me"

Yeah. One of the best "My 3 songs" sets I've heard yet. Amazing, beautiful songs. Thanks, Andrew John.

Don't even get me started on "Casimir Pulaski Day." That song destroys me. Especially that almost-whispered: "And he takes and he takes and he takes."
