Earth Day

Sunday is Earth Day. A GREAT day to celebrate this planet we are lucky enought to live on! A perfect day to take a walk instead of a drive or to pick up trash around your neighborhood or to decide to never again throw your cigarette butts out the window.

I was trying to think of a few great songs to play for Earth Day. Woody Guthrie's "This Land is Your Land" & Dramarama's "What Are We Gonna Do" came to mind.

Can you think of any great Earth Day songs?

One of my favorite things about being a dad is the very simple idea of knowing that my daughter is asleep in the next room.

One of my favorite things is hearing her get up early in the morning (and I'm talking sun barely visible over the horizon early) and sashay into our room. She never just walks into a room; she makes an appearance.

One of my favorite things is watching her eat.

OK, all together now: Awwwwwwwwwww...

Tonight's SFR is John Coltrane's version of "My Favorite Things."
