Is there a website that we can go to and post a request that Smasthing Pumpkins NOT come to the Twin Cities? Man, I hated/hate that band.

I'm curious to see what kind of spin an ironic band like the Minus 5 will give "That Smell". And I'm relieved the Decemberists chose one of my favorite Fleetwood Mac songs, "Think About Me" (originally on Tusk), rather than something lame like "Rhiannon".

I would ask Frick what's wrong with the Smashing Pumpkins, then I remember that I feel much the same way about Modest Mouse, so I'll let it go...

Well, I suppose it does require a little explanation rather than a blanket "I hate...". I hate Billy Corgan's whiny voice most of all. It weedles yourself into your brain like a burrowing creature and nests there for awhile. Also, back in their heyday, they were so ubiquitous on Alternative radio (REV 105, etc.) that you couldn't escape them and you were guaranteed to hear them every hour or so. So there's that backlash too.
