The Alarmists have announced that Joe Kuefler will be leaving the band after next month's Voltage Fashion Amplified at First Avenue. More info on their Myspace page. Hear a performance they recorded in-studio at The Current last summer.

Yeah, it sucks when you wake up in the Travis County Jail and think, "Hey, wait ... this isn't my hotel room." I mean, I imagine it sucks.

The Randy Rhoads plane crash is one of the more bizarre deaths in rock history. The plane was apparently trying to spook the rest of the band by buzzing the tour bus, but it got too close, clipped its wing, and crashed into a mansion.
