Chuck sent me an email in regards to the Flogging Molly tune I just played...
Is he saying "spend a little more at the mall of america" ??? this has been a debate around the office for a while now. I found the lyrics after a google search and found no reference to MOA, unless of course, you refer to it as "The Devil's Dance Floor".

An Evening With Peter Doherty? Last week it was announced on the Babyshambles site.
Pete will play two solo shows next month. Expect poetry readings, acoustic songs and special guests. Buy tickets here.

Brother Ali and Fifth Element will celebrate the release of his new disk "The Undisputed Truth" next month. He'll also be playing our SxSW showcase How about a preview of what he sounds like live? This in-studio performance from December, 2005 should suffice.

Today on our Song Of The Day Podcast we're featuring The Young Knives, with "Another Hollow Line" from their debut full length, Voices of Animals and Me. Catch them at our SxSW broadcast. More info on their official site.

Citizen Cope was recently interviewed and played interviewer in SurgingMagazine.com. He's also posted some upcoming tour dates. Unfortunately, he's skipping the Twin Cities this time around. We can re-live his previous in-studio performances from August, 2005 and November, 2006.

9:20am
Amy Winehouse is all the rage in the UK right now and with the release of her album, Back to Black, she's garnering a great deal of attention stateside, as well. Her album is The Current's CD of the week right now. If you'd like to try to win tickets to an upcoming show in California, here's a contest you should know about. Learn more about Amy on her official site or Myspace page.

"Well swing a little more, little more o'er the merry-o "
sounds very simmilar to "well spend a little more, at the mall of america" with that accent. I think the song would be much better if it was about moa.
