According to Spin Pete Doherty AND Kate Moss have entered rehab together. Isn't the typical rehab stay 28 days, or is that just a bad Sandra Bullock movie reference? I ask, because the Babyshambles website has some mid-February tour dates listed.

It feels like Xmas in January because there's so much Decemberists news.. Let's see, there's the DVD.. Decemberists: A Practical Handbook that they're releasing on March 20th... Feeling crafty? Grab this and your thimble! And then they have some upcoming dates with My Brightest Diamond.

What will the concert stubs say? .. "A band that isn't a band" will be touring the states soon.

Carson Ellis, who does most, if not all, of the artwork for the Decemberists, is an amazing artist. I've been fond of her work since I came across it in an issue of the Black Warrior Review. Since I can't really afford any of her paintings right now, I'm thrilled that I can at least try my hand at a Carson Ellis pillow or dishtowel. The hard part will be actually learning how to stitch.

Side dish: Carson is also Colin Melloy's babymama.
