Drink up, Fido

"I felt bad that the dog could only drink water while my wife and I were enjoying our beer."

That's a quote from Arjan Berendsen, the creator of Kwispelbier, a beer for dogs. Kwispelbier translates to "Waggy Tail Ale."

Apparently, Waggy Tail has a delicious beef and malt flavor.

"There are some owners who like [to drink] it as much as their dogs," says Berendsen.

Not to worry. Beer for cats should hit shelves in 2008.

but it's non-alcoholic!
