According to Uncut, Beautiful South have broken up.
Dr. Dog hits the stores on the 27th. But you can pre-order it and get some extra goodies, as well!
Cloud Cult's latest The Meaning of 8 won't be in stores until April but they are giving you the opportunity to get in on a presale.
If you're planning on being a couch potato tonight you could catch Juliana Hatfield's cover of the NRBQ tune "Me And The Boys" on the ABC show Men In Trees and Emily Haines on Carson Daly.
Forgive me, I've been cryogenically frozen for the last, oh, fifteen years. I didn't know The Beautiful South were STILL TOGETHER.
How did I miss their last 8 albums? What's wrong with me?
Remember "I Love You But You're Boring"? I used to sit in the lit mag office at school with that on my cassette walkman, and pen poems about boys I loved who were clearly too stupid to understand my genius.
Guess I wasn't such a genius after all.
Yes, Cloud Cult .... we went to their concert up in ashland wisconsin on feb 10th... we got the "Meaning of 8" and listened to it straight through driving the backroads by lake superior... Well, the album is mesmerizing and gorgeous and amazing and well, drop everything and go to their website to download it for just $10.. cheers Barb Palmer
