Paul Westerberg & Prince: Never in the same room together?

Posted at 3:00 PM on December 1, 2006 by Hans Eisenbeis (2 Comments)

What could be hotter than penguins? Nothing! That's why Prince is obsessed with them and you should be too.

He gets older, and like a fine wine he just gets bigger, better, and more intoxicating, with a full nose and a round taste.

Say, now that Prince and Paul Westerberg have both stormed the world of movie soundtracks, is it time to consider whether the two are somehow doppelgangers of one another? Back in about 1986, they both created a separate and successful "Minneapolis Sound." Is it time to argue about "the Minneapolis Soundtrack"?

I would like to think that Prince and Paul have somewhat of a feud going on, but I highly doubt that's the case......especially now that they're older. But it would be a good idea for them to collaborate to produce a Minneapolis soundtrack. I mean, there obviously will need to be some sort of animated animal corresponding to the whole project, and I'm hoping it will be a llama.

Should be an easy question to answer since it's my understanding Paul's sister works on air at the Current unless I've been misinformed.
