NY Datebook: Jewish Punk Rock Night!

If you're in New York City tonight, we recommend you check out what's going on downtown at the Museum of Jewish History. Our own Mary Lucia is interviewing Steven Lee Berber, author of "The Heebie-Jeebies at CBGB's." The book explores the role of Jewish musicians in punk rock (Joey Ramone? That's Jeffery Hyman to his Rabbi!), and tonight's happening will also feature punk-rock legends Danny Fields and Lenny Kaye.

Unfortunately, we're stuck here in St. Paul, trying to finish our own manuscript, "First Avenue Breakdown: A Secret History of Lutheran Post-Punk."
