List-O-Mat: NPR listeners pick their top-10 albums of the year

National Public Radio listeners have picked their top-10 albums of the year as a part of the whole "All Songs Considered" subdivision. NPR folks favored The Decemberists as the number one album of 2006. Other notables on the list: Regina Spektor (10), Tom Waits (9), TV on the Radio (5), M. Ward (4), and Bob Dylan ( 3).
With great taste like that, can it be any wonder that Will Hermes--former Twin Citizen and arts editor at the City Pages--is one of the honchos at All Songs Considered?
