More news of recording rarities: A set of disks bearing the earliest known recordings of Judy Garland have been discovered. The Grand Rapids, Minnesota native recorded a handful of songs when she was twelve years old, including such old chestnuts as "The Good Ship Lollypop," and "Object of My Affections."
These, of course, should not be confused with the earliest known recordings of Frances Gumm, the awesome St. Paul punk-rock group headed by longtime Speedboat operator Paul Dickinson.
